Gold Rush Days

California's gold rush was brought to life with CACS's authenic looking gold rush era Chinese mining camp. The living history exhibit was located in Old Sacramento's historical district. CACS's volunteers dressed up each day in period costume and demonstrated the lion dance, tai chi, ma jong, and calligraphy.
