The Chinese American Council of Sacramento is a non- profit organization established to serve the needs of Sacramento's Chinese American Community and is committed to building a stronger Chinese American presence through leadership in advocacy, civic, and cultural activities.

CACS specifically works to:

• Nurture, preserve and promote the cultural heritage of Chinese Americans
• Foster an accurate image of Chinese Americans
• Promote communication, cooperation and unification among community organizations.
• Promote equal opportunities for Chinese Americans in the private and public sectors.
• Collaborate with policy makers on issues concerning and affecting Chinese Americans.
• Assist in the development of leadership skills in Chinese American youth.
• Encourages community participation of Chinese American in Civic, Business, Educational, and Govermental affairs in the greater Sacramento
