Dr. Christina Fa Wins Top Award

September 8, 2002. Dr. Christina Fa’s Asian Pacific American pop culture exhibit “Asian Americana” won First Prize in a recent contest held by the Western State Fairs Association. The prize was given to New Exhibitions, Non-Competition. The association reviews exhibits from county and state fairs throughout the entire west coast, including Hawaii. The exhibit was the public premiere of Dr. Fa’s exhibit, which is reportedly the nation’s largest collection of Asian American Pop culture.
The Exhibit was also displayed at the 2002 California State Fair.
